I have never heard anything like this before! I am an avid classical and instrumental music listener (I listen exclusively to the stuff!) and this is a refreshing addition to my collection. I love the singer's voice; it is absolutely perfect--not too polished and processed, nor untrained or harsh. The instruments sound authentic with out being abrasive, and the music is a pleasant mixture of peppy and relaxed, sprinkled with a few spoken verses. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

I bought this CD on the last year. I have heard it and I can say that is marvellous listening melodies and lyrics composed a lot of time ago. I recommend to someone, who loves medieval song, to listening the others two Martin Best s' CDs that, in my opinion, complete this CD: The Last of Troubadors and The Dante Troubadors. Five stars for these three CDs.
