Islam sacred music,
This review is from: Songs of Extasy in Irak (Audio CD)
It is rare to get a CD of Islamic sacred music of such high quality (both technical and musical). These recordings were made in a Bagdad mosque by J.J. Weiss, involving a small group of singers who are excellent artists and also knowledgeable scholars of the music they are performing. Of the three long suites on this CD two have rhythmic accompaniment, the other is a vocal solo piece.
