This St. Joseph, Missouri native who now calls Kansas City home hits the mark on this incredible debut album. I happened to read about it in an underground music magazine, ordered it directly from Mars Music and was surprised at the strength of the song-writing, the loose ragged feel of the playing and the excellent production quality (considering it was pressed on a "minor" label). If you're a fan of Neil Young's early 1970s output, the Bottle Rockets, Uncle Tupelo or Son Volt, then you're really gonna dig this! This is absolutely for you! I wish I could find some live dates for this band, but I've not yet had the pleasure of seeing Chad Rex live yet. One day. . .
