Editorial Reviews

Review
"An amazing Talent" --The Sun

Product Description
This amazing 28 track collection (2 CD's) contains some of Dean's most beautiful work. Classic songs like Saturday Fathers, Jennifer's Baby, Sandy, Hob-Nobbin', The Dolphins Were Dancing, Little Black Cloud, Dodo, Where Have All The Angels Flown? This content rich, double CD deals thematically with the stuff of ordinary and not-so-ordinary lives. It is a powerful, mature and sophisticated work by a master songsmith at the peak of his craft. These are real songs about real life and real people covering topics such as divorce, adultery, adoption, birth and death and comic books? Yes, comic books. Like real life, Friedman’s music can be difficult to describe but it never fails to amaze, delight, move and entertain. This stunning, long awaited collection will further solidify Friedman’s reputation as one of the finest recording artists of his generation.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent comeback by a long missed artist, October 1, 1999

(REAL NAME)
Not having released a new record in 17 years, Dean Friedman is back with this 2CD collection, chock full of songs about life, love and stuff. It's a great set. Dean's wonderful tenor voice still sounds loud and clear, and he's been sorely missed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the wait, February 9, 2000
By A Customer
Like a good wine that gets better over time, Dean Friedman returns after a 17-year hiatus with a magnificent collection of 28 songs. The voice is still as strong as it used to be. The songs clearly show that the man has grown older and better. This is definitely my favorite album in 1999. Although it was well worth the wait, I hope the next one doesn't take that long. Life is short.
