My younger son LOVES LOVES LOVES Bear, so we have a LOT of Bear videos and more than one complete stranger has seen me singing the "Bear Cha Cha Cha" while pushing a stroller. (As someone who has experienced vastly more "Bear" than most normal adults, I find the music to be the best part of the show. Both my husband and I have been caught singing Bear songs at work.) When this CD became available, I of course had to order it, but was unprepared for how enthusiastically the Big Brother 6 year old (who is already just a little too cool for Bear) would respond to it. Everyone loves this CD! If you have little (or big) Bear lovers in your household, you need to buy this CD.

If your child (or you, for that matter) is a fan of The Big Blue House, this is a must-have. This CD does not contain every song from BitBBH (a nice idea for a box set!?), but it is a fair sample, and it's fun when one of the CD songs pops up in an episode. The songs are catchy and well-written, and acurately reflect the spirit of the show. What impressed me most was the quality of the production; this is not some thrown together, oh-it's-just-for-kids-so-who-cares-about-quality effort. The song structure and musicianship is outstanding, with different song styles and little flourishes of saxaphone and percussion here and there. These songs stand on their own in terms of quality, though they do not necessarily make much sense without knowing about the characters. My son loves this CD, and quiets down and listens intently when it plays at home or in the car. My wife and I enjoy it too!

One word..AWESOME!

My 15 mos old loves this CD (Mom and Dad have been known to hum a bar or two as well). Put it on in the car and she is happy as a clam. Same songs you'll hear on the show, nothing new, but definately the favorites.

Both of my boys (ages 20 mos and almost 4) to watch "Bear" on TV. I just bought the CD and it is awesome! I have to say I love it as much as they do. If "Brush Brush Bree", "Clean Up the House" and "Everybody Say Ah" don't get you up and dancing, then something is wrong! With most of their other CDs/tapes, one time through is about all I can take, but I swear I could listen to this one all day and never get tired of it. I have even listened in the car while driving alone. :-) You have to buy this CD!

This CD is wonderful the music and the letter of the songs are wonderful. My 21 month daughter wants me to play it all the time, she already knows all the songs, and even asks for the "clean up" song. For us parents it is a true joy to hear , it really makes you sing and dance. Sometimes my daughter isn't even in the car and I still keep it playing and singing.

This CD has made long trips much more bearable! My 13 month old son loves Bear and the gang so of course he loves this CD as well. The songs are catchy and not annoying like many other children's songs. My husband has sung these songs at work. I recommend this CD to everyone especially anyone with Bear lovers at home.

This is a great cd!!! Out of all the children's characters there are today, this is the absolute best. I'm bilingual Canadian. Out of both English and French, it's the best.. The songs are clear and understandable for the young kids.. My son always loved music, but this one rocks... For the first time I got to see him not only dance to music he loved but sing to it too... his favorite is the goodbye song...To see the excitement in his eyes that he was saying all the right words at the same time as Bear was precious...I recommend this to any parent with young children... toddlers to be exact.

I don't know what posessed me to buy this for my daughter. But after 12,000,000 playings of it, I can't get the songs out of my head.

The final 6 or 7 tunes are especially good. Now I can't stop humming them. It's awful!

Be warned.

This is a great collection of BITBBH songs. My 18 month old son request it be played during meal time and enjoys mommy singing along. I love the different style of music from rap, lullaby, big band, jazz, ect.

There needs to be a Volume 2! This is the only CD that plays in our car while our 1 1/2 year old is in it. If another CD is playing he immediately exclaims "cha-cha." It features many of the songs from the show, but to my dismay, it doesn't include "Shadows Lullaby." The tunes are upbeat and catchy including a large variety of sounds from a showtune beat to rap. Disney, please come out with a volume 2, especially for those of us who aren't allowed to hear any other CD's in the car! :-)
