This is the MOST awesome CD ......to say that it "touches" the soul would not give it enough credit. the initial reason for purchasing this cd was the song "how could anyone," I have heard this song done by other artists.....but none of their versions can compare to the peace and beauty that shaina does it with. As if that in itself werent enough....90% (if not more) of the other songs on this cd.....are of the same quality......and give a deep sense of peace.....everyone i have shared it with....has requested a copy....I have a copy that I listen to when I go to sleep at night......because it is an affirmation..to my inner child ......and.....to my soul.

I found this CD, or rather, it found me, when I was doing work to recover from childhood physical and sexual abuse. Shaina sings the kinds of songs I never heard as a child. Hearing them now has made a tremendous difference in my life. The words and music truly touched my soul, and allowed me to feel calm and loved and at peace. I would recommend this to anyone who was not nutured as a child.

I actually had never heard of Shaina Noll. I was cooling down in an exercise class when they played the first song on this CD "How could anyone ever tell you you were anything less than beautiful....." these are song of encouragement and love and an uplifting kind of positive message that is so lacking in the world today. If you ever have felt like you don't matter, listen to these songs! Every one of them is fantastic and you will walk away feeling so good about yourself and you will want to pass on that good feeling to eveyone around you! Thank you Shaina for something so positive to listen to. What a nice thing you did for your children singing them songs like this!

This is a beautiful CD. When I first listened to it and anytime I pop in the player it brings tears to my eyes. God is speaking to you through her lyrics. She sang these songs to her children and now God is singing to us through the beautiful voice of hers. Her husband chimes in and sings some songs also. Very touching. I am a man. It feels good to breakdown this male tough thing once and awhile open up to love of The Mother.

If you want to be soothed. If you want to hear your true nature, that you are loved, that you are love, than buy this CD. You will not be dissapointed.

I am so happy that music like this is coming out now. The outer world may look and feel crazy but Someone is touching, caressing, loving us in the innerworld.

This tape was introduced to me on Good Friday, by a Hospice Aid that was caring for my father. She gave me this tape to play for my father. My brothers and I started to cry as soon as we heard "How Could Anyone Ever Tell You". It was so beautiful and touching. My father was in a coma like start, coming in and out for brief moments at a time. Shortly after hearing this beautiful music he opened his eyes and spoke, more clearly than he had been able to in weeks. He said he saw the Lord and was ready to "GO" and reached out to each of us, telling us each good bye. He was at peace, it was a beautiful thing. I thought that he would pass within moments, however, it was like a miracle. He came alive, and was caring and compassionate in a way that I had never known him to be. He actually joined us at the table that night for dinner as well as the following evening and ate "real" food. He was funny, telling us jokes and we had a wonderful next two days. Easter Sunday, he slipped back into the coma like state and was struggling to breathe and we knew that he would be leaving us soon. He passed early Monday morning having completed the tasks of bringing our family closer together than we had been for years. I truly believe that the words and music from this tape reached him and gave him the strength he needed to finish his work on this earth, which was to know that his family and wife would be okay. My family and I feel so blessed to have experienced this with my father and although I miss him, I know that he is where he needs to be and he left us all with some wonderful memories. Thank you for this beautiful music.

I first heard the song "How Could Anyone" as a sound wave on my computer..at the time i was in recovery for drugs and alcohol and had just relapsed...and i have a another form of adiction that i never talked about...called self mutilation...not something one talks about..and i started listening to this song on my computer..i played it all the time...and soon...within a month or two...my feelings of hopelesness lessened..i wont say they completely went away...but they got easier to deal with..they inspired me to get out of a bad situation...and though i went from having a home and a computer...to having nothing at all and living in a homeless shelter..that song stayed with me..i hear it in my head today...and it helps me to go on..helps me to finnally live life instead of just existing..i truly believe that this song saved my life...and though i want the whole cd...right now i dont have the money..but will soon...now that i finnally found out how i can get it...took me forever,,,you could say ive been searching for it all over the country..from texas to new york...my crhistmas gift to myself this year..probally the only christmas gift i will recieve...will be the song that saved my life,,such peace this song gave one that was not only phisically torn by life but emotionally worn and dying inside...dying quickly..if this song can heal me...it can heal anyone..has inspired me to one day help other people who have gone through simular things in life such as i have..i could go on and on about just this one song on this cd...but i could never do it any justice...someone will just have to play it for themselves

I am a Family Therapist that works with at-risk children and their familes in their home. I have recommended this CD so many times to my clients and have personally bought many copies for my friends and family. I recently was working with a little boy (7yrs) and his single father. The youngster has had severe brain damage caused by living in his mother's home that was being used as a Meth lab. He has a long list of challenges and diagnosis that have really complicated his life. He has rage issues and loses himself in the rage for hours. Recently I was at the home when he went into a rage. I quickly ran out to my truck and grabbed my copy of "Songs for the Inner Child" and dashed back in the house. Before the second song was completed this little boy had calmed down and was peacefully talking to his loving father.
I have had similar reports from other clients, both adults and teens, who have found a lot of healing and peace from these beautiful healing songs. I highly recommend it.

This is an EXCELLENT CD for anyone who is doing healing work. It is especially wonderful if you are healing from childhood abuse. Shaina sings to the child in all of us. Thank you with all of my heart!

I have rocked all three of my babies to sleep by this music and it is always a favorite in our home.It reaches the inner child in all of us that gets burried by the process of growing up. Shaina Noll's beautiful soothing voice and totally loving words help us all feel safe and comforted, no matter what age we are.

I had never heard of Shaina Noll, but I saw this CD in a store one day and instinctively knew I had to get it. I have never regretted it, and if I could afford to, I would buy copies for all of my friends. This CD is so peaceful and affirming, and her voice is like that of an angel.
