one of the most under rated singers of our time. this CD is a compliation of some of the best lovesongs of the rock era. arena does am amazing job, and makes each song her own.

America needs to discover Miss Tina Arena!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love most of the songs with Everybody Hurts being my favorite. Her voice is great and she does a great job with some classic older songs like To Sir With Love.

Tina Arena was a unknown singer for me, like she was for almost all other reviewers of her records.
I was browsing youtube looking for Lulu songs and ¡BOOM! Tina Arena was there singing Oh me Oh my.
What a class!
I'd been buying music since +40 years ago, and now she is one of the gems of my huge collection. Where was this little woman singing?
She's better than 95% of the women singing out there on the pop scene, with a personality in her voice that sometimes reminds me of Barbra Streisand.
The arrangements of "Songs of..." are well made, but not over the top.
The sound is okay (a miracle these days of compression and eq) and the repertoire was well chosen.
Above all, a singer singing her way, not copying in any manner the original singers of these themes (Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Karen Carpenter, among others)and making this cd a really enjoyable one.
Go ahead, buy these cd's (wait for the special price on this two cd's package)and you, like me, will soon be searching the Amazon pages to buy one of her others works!

FIRST AT ALL I WOULD HAVE NAMY OPINIONS ABOUT THE TRACKLIST BUT THE SONGS, MUSIC, MELODY AND SPIRIT OF HER VOICE CHANGING COMPLETELY MY VISION ABOUT HER. SHE'S SO PURE AND SENTIMENTAL! THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM OF TINA SO FAR! SONGS LIKE OH ME OH MY, UNTIL, WOULD'T IT BE GOOD, EVERYBODY HURTS AND MMANY OTHERS ARE THE SOUL AND LOVE HERE!
