Never Disappointed, June 22, 2008
What can I say? Lowell Liebermann is the model for quality composers of classical music in our day.
This collection of his songs has plenty of modernity without scaring off the average listener. With the master himself at the keyboard, the piano accompaniment may be the thing that made the works most enjoyable for me.
If art song isn't your thing, try his piano concertos, symphony and chamber works. It's hard not to like the music of Liebermann.
