5.0 out of 5 stars silly... and yet oddly compelling!
Patton and comapny are in rare form. This EP is a little silly- anyone who would put a Lionell Richie cover and a Dead Kennedys cover on the same album deserves some props for outlandishness. And then to do the Richie cover stratight (relatively) and the Kennedys as a country song? Buuhahaha. Go ahead and add this to your shopping cart. It's only 4 songs but it is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Goofy, but entertaining.
This is pretty much exactly what a cd with a postcard-like picture of rhinos humping in the sunset should sound like: Strange. Funny... Dare I say, sexy? Ok, not sexy. What we get here is the band's gloriously straight rendition of The Commodores' "Easy", which proves once and for all that if the whole Ipecac/being in 20 million different bands thing doesn't work out,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Songs to Make LOVE to, December 30, 2000

I don't know if Faith No More was poking fun with the name of this Maxi-Single, but they sure are songs to make love to (with the exception of Das Schutzenfest--which always makes me laugh).

This is a brilliant collection of tracks, and "Easy" is an amazing cover--possibly one of the greatest covers of all-time.

This is pretty much exactly what a cd with a postcard-like picture of rhinos humping in the sunset should sound like: Strange. Funny... Dare I say, sexy? Ok, not sexy. What we get here is the band's gloriously straight rendition of The Commodores' "Easy", which proves once and for all that if the whole Ipecac/being in 20 million different bands thing doesn't work out, Mike Patton could have a viable carreer singing on showboats and casinos with that smooth croon of his, an oddly hillarious Elvis-ified rendition of The Dead Kennedy's "Let's Lynch The Landlord", the well-performed version of the "Midnight Cowboy" theme already available on Angeldust, and "Das Shutzenfest", a bizarre stab at german-language polka that actually turns out to be about meeting a woman at a shooting festival and making love near the pig trough. It's probably not worth your money if you have the version of Angeldust with "Easy" as a bonus track and the Virus 100 Dead Kennedys tribute, since you then own 3/4 of the EP, but if this isn't the case, it's at least worth considering for "Easy" itself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great music, funny joke, August 12, 1999

This is FNM's joke gone wild. This EP is great! The silly version of "Easy" is only surpassed by the UK version featuring spoken lines: "Turn the lights out baby, This one's for the ladies in the house." The wild polka "Das Schutzenfest" is hysterical, even if you don't know what the words are. This EP is a must-have!

It pains me to say it, being as how I love DK, but the hipster tune just seems to fit!
The rest of this single, I would reccomend, but 'Let's Lynch the Landlord', I'm sorry to the Dead Kennedy's, but this's how it was meant to be done!

Fisrt song is the cover "Easy". Two other songs are a german folk-pop dance, singing in german. and a Elvis Pressly imitation
rock song. Last the cover "midnight cowboy", an instrumental.
A sure classic album!

3.0 out of 5 stars Get in the mood with Das Schutzenfest, December 23, 2008

Worth alone for their excellent cover song, the rest of this short EP has a few oddities fans of FNM's bizarre humor might appreciate and an instrumental closer they will already know from Angel Dust.
