Maggie's singing is super: a crystal clear sound singing some Gaelic classics. Her sound is similar to other Gaelic singers as she has studied with some of them--the best in the field. Listen to "The Dark Island" for a wonderfully haunting ballad. And "Owen's Boat" is cheeky and fun vocals sung over a lively electronic accompaniment. Two words describe her sound: "hauntingly beautiful." Look out for this youngster--she is going places! Check out her other album with the group "Ru-Ra."

Maggie has one of the most fantastic singing voices I have ever heard. Her range is phenomenal, and her selection of music on this CD is very pleasant.
