Herbert offers an riveting and earth-shaking story. Genius.
A far future of Mankind, with all the science, polititcs, religion, and all the corruption one might expect. Strong characters, an ingenious plot, and a gripping setting. If you like the first one, you'll love the rest.

Not really what I was expecting.
I love Dune and once I started getting into it, I started collecting Dune 'stuff' if I found it. I ordered this and was a little disappointed. It's just quotations from the books and some illustrations. Interesting if you're a collector of things, but if you're looking for insight into Dune, this isn't what you're looking for.
