I lost my mother nearly ten years ago and not a day goes by without her crossing my mind. When I heard about this album, I just bought it blindly. Incredible! The album comforts, mourns and celebrates Ronan's mother but is universal has provided me with some comfort. "Mama's Arms" is heartbreaking but captures the feelings of losing a mother. His rendition of "Time After Time" is as good as I have ever heard. Great album and I am glad to have encountered it and the peace it has provided.

I purchased the special boxed edition of this CD and it was just lovely. The 10 songs were well selected, 8 songs that were for Ronan's mother, and 2 that helped him after her death 11 years ago from breast cancer. Carrickfergus, an haunting Irish song is my favorite - Ronan's voice soars on it. I Believe I can Fly and Both Sides Now are also on the top of my list. The renditions are well done. Joshua Kadison's "Mama's Arms" is well done - it fits well with these songs in honor of Ro's mam. The booklet that has wedding and family photos as well as memories of his mother is well done, and it was great to be able to send a special message to my mother in the line notes as well. Great CD - I highly recommend it!

Great songs, clear, pure voice. I enjoy every song on this album. It's touching knowing the reason why the songs were chosen. I enjoy everything Ronan does, but especially this.

This album is great. It's full of covers which are both well done and very emotional. They could be dedicated to your mother, your spouse, your child, or anyone else you love.

I absolutely like this singer, he's so mellow. The only thing I can tell you is listen to a few of the tracks for yourself.
This album will not disappoint you at all.

I first heard this singer in a music video. Terrific voice and his work mostly shows a lot of heart.

This is the first album I have from Ronan Keating. I learned about him thru Amazon, and purchased this CD after I listened to the samples. I am glad I did. This man is a great great singer, with a beautiful voice. His performance of older tunes I knew, such as "From Both Sides Now", is great, and the songs I did not know are very moving and beautiful(such as "Mama's Arms"). Anyone who likes popular music and ballads, will enjoy this CD. Thank God they still make quality music for adults. We don't all want Justin Beiber, Usher, and Katy Perry & the Jonus Brothers. Ronan Keating proves talent still exist in music today.

This is my first review and i decided to put down my review because this album is by far one of my top favorite!

Although it is a pop album, when you compare it with Britney's or McDonna's music, this piece of art give you room for imagination. The lyrics from couple of the songs are stunning and overwhelming. My top picks are "Both Sides Now" and "The Wild Mountain Thyme". Maybe the pace of the songs are too slow for some people (for me initially as well), but they are certainly masterpiece.

On the other hand, "Time After Time" and "Suspicious Minds", in my opinion, are not as good as "Friends In Time" in his last album. Overall, it worths 5 stars from me.

Oh, I was borned in the 80s so i haven't heard 9 out of the 10 songs in the album; they are new songs to me.

Once again, it is much less expensive to purchase this item from Amazon.co.uk, than here. Even with overseas shipping and the exchange rate, the total price to buy from the U.K. is less than the list price here.

I prefer to spend my money in the U.S., but why should I pay $18.50 plus 3.00 shipping & tax, when I can purchase it from the U.K. for 12.85.

I rate the item with 4 stars, because I love the songs on the cd. If I could rate the price & shipping, it would be 0 Stars.
