Kelly Frenandi's CD is phenomenal! It takes you on a personaly journey from conception into the child's psyche. It also shows you along the way all the purity, wonder and individuality which the newly born possess. It is a beautiful tribute to unconditional love. Fernandi's lyrics touches on many of life's most difficult lessons. (Does your definition of success mention words like happiness?) This music makes you feel high on life; and, more importantly, it leaves you feeling very grateful!

What a wonderfully, expressive album. It captures feelings I had (and have) but could not put into words. Enjoy!

First of all, Mr. Fernandi not only has an incredible vocal range, but he is also able to perform so many different styles with ease. Secondly, this CD is a must have for all parents but especially for those expecting. All parents have gone through that anxious period of wondering the whys, hows, whats, and whens of becoming a parent. It's nice to finally know that others have been in this same boat before. Finally, the amazing acapella "Natalie", with it's rich harmonizations and three incredible voices was like a dream come true. I hope that this CD is a springboard for Mr. Fernandi to continue to treat us to other songs as his children grow older.

Oh, man. Another angst-laden grunge act from Seattle. Um, no. This is a wonderful and refreshing disc. Kelly's incredible voice range is perfect for the diversity of his songs on this freshman outting. These songs with influences from folk to blues to jazz (and yes, a little carribean flavor, too) will have young and old tapping their little fingers and toes in no time at all! You don't have to be a parent to dig the messages and questions within. And you don't hafta be a kid to enjoy the game (which I quickly discovered doubles as a rattle! ) First buy this cd for yourself. Then buy it for all your friends with kids. Your parents will probably enjoy it, too. This would make a great Anniversary gift for your folks as they most certainly experienced a lot of what Kelly is singing about. I especially enjoy the arrangement on the vocal "Natalie" If this music doesn't make you smile, you've lost the twinkle in your eye.

For a first CD Mr. Fernandi has really excelled. This disk made me laugh, and it make me think. Think hard about my relationship with my own daughter and wife. And yes at times I was very emotionally moved. Anyone who has kids on their radar screen would really enjoy this!

Finally! A set of songs that doesn't insult the intelligence of the average parent with syrupy lyrics. Kelly Fernandi's release evokes memories of those initial bonds created between parent and child and the newfound love that couples enjoy when the family grows. Walking the listener through a child's toddler years, Kelly is the consummate storyteller who can still keep your feet tapping the whole time. If you're a rookie parent, or a veteran, you'll recognize yourself in Kelly's songs.

Songs for Parents and kids too is just that and more. Kelly Fernandi put together an amazing album that taps into numerous genres of music including rock and roll, blues, reggae, and even A Cappella. This album not only entertains, but it reminds us all about what is important in life. Personally, I do not have children, but when this album goes into my car cd player, it's a long time before it comes out. Entertaining, inspiring, and from the heart - - don't miss out on this evolutionary album.

I am stationed in bosnia and enjoy listening to kellys music, it keeps me thinking about the important things in my life and how to keep them in order. His music reminds us all what to look for, and as his song says "first find happiness". These songs are a great compulation of lifes little lessons that most folks hear and say to themselves "I should do that", but then forget to do because they are not reminded. This cd is a pleasure to listen to and a constant reminder of the important lessons we can all try to work on every day. Mr. Kelly Fernandi I thank you for the work you have put into this cd and all your time spent in the planning phase. The jacket of the cd was eyecaching and, as I like to see, contained the lyrics to your songs. I hope to see more of your music in the future. To any prospective buyer if you are going to buy a new cd from an unknown artist this week: this is the one to buy you will be pleasantly supprised by the diversity of music style and sounds. You will wish to always have this cd availble. I purchased my cd in nov and it has made the four thousand mile trip to bosnia with me. This is the cd you do not want to get away! Get your copy now.

Kelly has a God given gift that we are blessed to be able to enjoy! His obvious love for his wife and children flows through him into song. His intellect and imagination, his ability to see life through a childs eyes are exceptional abilities. "Still Life With Zucchini" and "Daddy, Please come home" being prime examples of his capability to comprehend and express a childs perspective. There are many life lessons that can be learned by parents, both new and experienced, by listening to these beautiful lyrics. Kelly takes the idea of being a parent and turns it from frightening, into awe-inspiring. AMAZING, WONDERFUL... Thank you, Kelly!
