Frankie saved the best for last,

This review is from: Songs of Polka King 2 (Audio CD)
Recorded in 1997, this was Frankie's last CD before his death in 1998. He saved the best for last! On the first track, Roger Martin and David Allen Coe praise Frankie to the skies in a lively country/western number. Frank's specialty instrument, the solovox (organ/synthesizer), enters the scene only near the end, and still gives me goose bumps every time I listen. The rendition of Milwaukee Polka, perhaps the sixth time Frankie has recorded this number, is the best yet. Recording quality is superb throughout. Hats off to Frankie Yankovic and Cleveland International!
