Never knew much of Rich Mullins until just recently. I regret I didn't pay attention to his recordings years ago!! Enjoy the songs and his "realness" as a Christian. He truly loved God as far as I can hear in his songs and reading about his life. Would recommend to anyone!!! God Bless!!

I can't believe I only recently even heard of Rich Mullins. I have heard other bands perform some of his work but I was clueless. I recently saw a recording of him on You Tube and I was immediately drawn to his spoken words and then his music. As I listened to him speak I knew he was humble, sincere, and unique. As I listened to him sing I was so touched and blessed. I knew if there were any singer I could meet that I would choose him. Then I saw that someone had written "Rest in Peace." I didn't want to know so I kept listening to his songs. Then finally I learned that he had been killed in a horrific car wreck. I also learned that he really was humble, sincere, and unique. I spent the day watching and listening to every song Rich Mullins wrote and sang. And I found myself mourning his death as though it had just happened. I felt so incredibly sad, I still do, even though I know I will meet him one day in Heaven. No matter where you are in life there is a Rich Mullins' song just for you. Look at his face as he speaks and sings. Listen to the words and music he wrote. Read about his life, especially from those who know him, and you will know why Rich Mullins still touches people with his life, the way he lived, and his music. He lived humbly even though he could've kept and had it all. I feel certain that if Rich Mullins read this review he would tell me that none of what he did was about him and he would be right. He might not even like what I just wrote. That's how humble this man was. It's just so rare when someone with such talent really knows it is from and for God. He really didn't care about fortune or fame. His faith in God is genuine. Yes, I know I don't always refer to him in the past tense because he's not really dead. He has everlasting life. I am buying every song and CD of Rich Mullins that I can find. If life is especially rough for you right now, listen to "Hold me, Jesus" and other songs by Rich Mullins and you will be blessed, too. God is still using Rich Mullins today.
