Excellent CD to listen to over and over with a range of voices and songs from old to new, but all beautiful. It's a really good mix of mellow female songs, from Nina Simone to "A Little Sugar in my Bowl" to Shawn Colvin and Lorena McKinnett (sp?). It's been a favorite to play in the evening while drinking wine for ten years now.

I lost my Songs of the Siren II cd and was so happy to be able to replace it. I wish Starbucks had continued to make cd's like this because it introduced me to many artists. The CD was in great shape and was delivered quickly. Now it is safely on my itunes and my grand daughter has borrowed it because she loves it too. Anyway the Starbucks compilations are really great and
Songs of the Siren are my favorites.
