Another biased opinion,

I already knew that the person who this CD was made for was an amazing girl, and I knew that the person who made this CD is supercool. But the songs on this CD are FABULOUS, and I hope everyone buys it. Aside from great songs by Jason Falkner and The Jazz Butcher, lesser known bands like Beasley and Sandycoates knocked me out with their beautiful songs. Sooooo good. I'm buying a bunch more to give away to friends. Also, money from the sale of this CD goes to a great charity. Rack up some good karma for yourself!

I am a big Ben Folds Five fan and so I did a search for them on Amazon.com and came across this CD. Not only was the Ben Folds Five song awsome but so was the whole CD. Not only that but I feel great knowing that the proceeds go to charity. Everyone will definitely enjoy this compilation of great music!

achingly beautiful,
By A Customer

This album is filled with songs that are as achingly beautiful and as frisky and unpredictable as Summer herself. Alternating between upbeat songs like the Frank and Walters' hilarious version of "Funky Cold Medina" or the simply gorgeous "Summer" by Beasley, this record surprises, delights, and makes me think about how much emptier this world is without Summer Brannin. God, she would have loved this compilation.I highly recommend purchasing this album, if only for its (outstanding) musical merits. The fact that ALL proceeds go to Free Arts for Abused Children makes acquiring it even more important.

I just got this today and I'm pleased, pleased, pleased. I'm a fan of Jason Falkner, Ben Folds Five and Jonathan Richman, but all of the rest of this stuff is great as well. A fine purchase. Cheers.

cooooooooooooooooooooooool,

Great to have a collection of coooool bands and help abused kids at the same time. I knew the girl that this was made for and I am glad that something this good has come out of her passing, because she really deserves this tribute. The tracks all go well together, and some are kind of hard to find individually, so why not help out a charity and get some great tunes by your favorite artists?

The only thing better than this album is Summer Brannin herself. I made this album for her but I hope you enjoy it too.

Who could ask for more?,

This is one of the most solid compilations I've ever heard. I usually don't care for compilations unless I make them myself, but the quality and diversity of the music on here is amazing, not to mention well sequenced. Of course all this ignores the (much) bigger picture - what a great cause! You won't regret buying this CD, but you might if you don't. Why live with regret?

Bad,

It is the worst album I ever bought. The songs are just terrible. Anyone who buys this album should have their head examined.
