Fits right in with the current indie/internet blogosphucker evolution swarming around pitchfork and the like but who cares cuz its fun to listen to. Think Neutrel Milk Hotel in high school, or what Weezer should've sounded like after Pinkerton. Think Tapes and Tapes with a more quirky voice or Wilco without the boring interludes. The vocals dance with Bravery-esque fake 80's british upper lip curl sometimes but mostly end up goofy instead and it works. The lyrics sometimes feel like inside jokes but you get it anyway. Nice little xylophones, whistles, and synths prance around the solid drum grooves and Neil Young guitars. Makes me wanna see them live. Buy this.

I heard "Lanterns & Laughing Ladies" on a local college indie station and immediately started to hunt down this band. Try "the bar is too low to fail", you'll want it to last longer..The rest of the cd doesn't disappoint either...

Songs That You Might Not Like
Brilliant lyrics, catchy tunes, and what other band can use odd instruments and make such awesomeness? I've seen them live several times since 2004 and it gets better and better every time. A must for any indie music enthusiast.
