Bluesville on xm radio has been playing cuts off this cd for a while. The whole thing is really good, some of it is original, some covers. The original blues are long naratives almost country sounding with a strong piano sound. Listening you would think he should be some old guy from Kansas City but he is a young Canadian. He doesn't seem to play much in the USA out side of Chicago. Which is too bad because, this guy is really great and I would love to see him live. This is the best piano blues cd I've heard since the last Marcia Ball.
