Fresh take on messianic prophesy,
By Adam Ellis "I Believe In A Better Way..." (North Augusta, SC) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Songs From the Voice, Vol. 2: Son of the Most High (Audio CD)
Multiple artists (including Andrew Peterson) collaborate on this ambitious second volume in the series. This CD focuses on mostly prophetic/poetic texts about the Messiah. The arrangements are fresh and innovative. The lyrics are true to the scriptures they are based on. From a stylistic standpoint, I probably prefer Songs From The Voice, Vol. 1: Please Don't Make Us Sing This Song , but I also highly recommend this second volume to a fascinating project.

I enjoy this CD because of the musical quality and message. The songs stay in my head and thus penetrate the brain.
