Baby boomers who loved watching those old TV westerns in the fifties and sixties will love this disc. These are the original versions of great songs, with full orchestration.

My husband and I (forty-somethings)enjoyed every memory, and tried to see who remembered each song first. Our kids just got a kick out of it all. Gotta get this one for my dad!!

an excellant collection of the western themes from the shows that were a real thrill to watch, and this music is a thrill and treat to listen to also.

This is a great CD if you love Westerns. "The Rifeman" is my favorite tune. It sounds terrific. It was worth the cost of this CD. It is that good!

These tunes on the CD are AWESOME! Reminds me of sitting in front of our black & white TV, watching the westerns as a kid! Sigh! The "good old days"! This is a great CD to own!

From the samples this sounds like an excellent disk. Too expensive, I think, but still - these are original recordings of the music; sometimes it's only the end-credit cuts rather than the intro's, but the content is much, MUCH better than a soft sad muzak-style reprise on some synthesizer or something - here you get the vital old TV Western themes in their all glory.
A proof of its value, perhaps, is that they can charge so darned much.

Great nostalgic collection of western movie and TV music. Brings back memories. Really enjoy it.

A must have for anyone that enjoys Westerns, but for those fifty plus it will have special meaning as this is the "Original" music used on several movies and TV series. It is rare you will see a compilation of the original artist that sang the songs, or studio recordings. If you enjoyed the Westerns in movies and TV in the 60s and 70s you will want to own this excellent CD. Great quality and lots of replayability.

Great recordings of thw best of the TV and some movie Westerns. All three generations of my family loved it.

For those of you that remember and long for the good old westerns, this is a great selection of the theme songs you fondly recall. Found this to be a great sing-a-long, too.
