Great songbook, not really for beginners.,

I just received this book a few weeks ago. Being a Don Williams fan I was exicted to find it a such a great prices. It is exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of songs (about 30 I think), chords, words, etc.! However, as a beginning guitar player it is going to be a while before I can play many of the songs (lots of F-chords and variations).The good news is that there are few that look like I should be able to get there within the year (C-D-G and A7) but there are others that I don't ever see me playing. Of course, I should not be surprised. It is songbook for a professional recording artist so it should be difficult. Overall, I'm very pleased with the songbook as it gives me some short-term attainable goals and some others that are really going to push me. |
