Deluxe two CD edition of his 2008 album includes two newly recorded tracks ('Get to You' and 'On the Same Side') plus a bonus disc that contains seven acoustic tracks: 'You Make It Real', 'Once When I Was Little', 'If You Don't Wanna Love Me', 'You Give Me Something', 'Broken Strings', 'Wonderful World' and 'Man In The Mirror'. Songs for You, Truths For Me is the sophomore album from the British singer/songwriter. Morrison began to learn guitar when his uncle Joe showed him how to play a Blues riff. He started busking as a teen and, after several years of playing covers, he eventually started to compose his own songs. He counts Otis Redding, Al Green, Cat Stevens, The Kinks and Van Morrison amongst his favorite artists. Universal. 2009.

This is one of those genuine artists out there who really has an amazing voice, proven by his live performances, and can also write great songs. He's a complete artist and I always look forward to his next albuns. This album contains not only most of his "songs for you, truths for me" album songs but some of the "Undiscovered" album songs plus a selection of accoustic songs as a bonus. It's worth having if you're a fan already and if you're not, gives you an idea of the greatness of James Morrison.

James Morrison is addictive. He has such a great voice, and his lyrics are so relevant. The Deluxe edition is a great addition to my collection as his acoustic tracks make me feel like I'm actually at a JM concert. Not disappointed!
