This program, which also features the vocal talents of Bobbi Baird, Liz Robertson and David Chaney, provides a rare glimpse into the anatomy of a musical, on stage and screen.

Finally, the curtain has gone up on these legendary workshops/concerts, held at New York City's 92nd Street Y, in which some of the theater's greatest talents came together to discuss the art of making art. John Kander and Fred Ebb gab about their work and their famous friends (think "Cabaret" and Liza, "Chicago" and Gwen and Chita), and perform audience favorites. The special track of Ebb's personal photo gallery is better than being backstage! Sharing the DVD is the evening with Alan Jay Lerner, the man who brought "Brigadoon," "My Fair Lady" and "Gigi" to the Great White Way. A most welcome encore!
