If you loved Sonic Adventure 2.....,
By Tricia Bayfield "Shadowednavi" (Aurora, IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sonic Adventure 2 - Official Soundtrack (Audio CD)
....then this CD is for you! It has MOST of the levels from the game in this CD, and almost all of the theme songs (Amy's theme isn't on there *sniff*). It has every type of music imaginable, making this CD pleasing for everyone. Whether you like rap, rock, or just plain fun songs, there's a song for you. NOTE: If you own either game (SA2 or SA2B), you'll notice that some of the songs sound different. This CD has the ENTIRE track for each song. They cut out most of the songs in the game. The only exception is Sonic's theme, which I dunno why it has the whole song, but...oh well. *grin* Here are the tracks (in order on the CD): 1) It Doesn't Matter - theme of Sonic Well there you have it. A lot of good songs all piled into one. I personally would recommend this for anyone older than 10 years old (some songs have mild language). ~Amy Rose

The best soundtrack of all time,
By "zelda33452" (Baltimore, Maryland USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sonic Adventure 2 - Official Soundtrack (Audio CD)
It's about time that Sega brought out the soundtrack. Out of ALL the games I have ever played in my entire life, the music in Sonic Adventure 2 has got to be the greatest of all time. All the songs have a great "upbeat" feel, and have an awesome rythem. Live and Learn is an all around great song, plain and simple. Sonic's, Shadow's, and even Dr. Eggman's theme songs are great to rock out to. Tails' theme has a nice pop rock beat to it. Rouge and Knuckles songs may not be sound as nice as they could have, but their still great songs. Even if you only buy this CD just for one song, its still worth it. Great job Sonic Team... You guys RULE!!!

One of the Best C.D.'s produced,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Sonic Adventure 2 - Official Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This is a great C.D. to own if you don't have the money to spend on the Imports. I really like#1 It Doesn't Matter: I love the guitarists and the lyrics!! #2 Let's Make it: It's fun to see if you can sing along with the melody!! #3 Escape From the City: The Lyrics are sooo catchy. Many a time have I lost a life on the game because I was singing with the music... #6 Unknown From M.E: I like this one because this rap is different. It's not all mumbled words. There are some times where there is no rap. I'm a girl that can't stand rap, and I loved this one. #10 Rhythm and Balance: All of Shadow's songs are techno. I loved the mix, though my mom didn't appreciate it. the City Escape life losses also occured here... #12 E.G.G.M.A.N :This one is easy to sing along to. Also a good song if you're feeling especially chaotic. #15 Fly in the Freedom: I liked the words because they described Rouge's feeling for Knuckles. A good lullaby song. #19 Believe in Myself: My all time favorite character is Tails, so you can imagine how I sang along with this one. It really descibes Tails longing for more independence. #21 Throw it all Away: I also loved this one. The lyrics are especially easy to listen to. They don't have that " oh my gosh, they're repeating that again??!?!" Instead they have cool instrumentals, and it makes you wonder what instruments they're using... #23 Supporting Me: It was good, but it needed some more lyrics. Yes, I lost some lives fighting the Biolizard while singing this... #24 The Last Scene: If you played the game and you still believe that Shadow died, this will probably make you cry. Especially if you know what the last phrase said is. " Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog" Trust me, It made me just cry. #25 Live and Learn: This is a good "pick-me-up" especially after that last song(sniffle) This is a very cool rock song!! YES, I also lost lives on The Final Hazard singing along to this one... #26 Chao Extended Remix: This is a good song, but the only thing is that it starts to lose its replay value after a while. It is very cute to listen to, and is another one of those pick-me-up songs. This is one of the Best C.D.'s that every true Sonic fan should have.

my new favorite CD!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Sonic Adventure 2 - Official Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This soundtrack is the coolest! I love the music in the game, and all of the lyrics are on this soundtrack, unlike on the in-game sound test where they cut a lot of the lyrics, with the exception of Sonic's theme song.My favorite tracks are- 1. It Doesn't Matter (theme of sonic) 2. Event: Let's Make It! 3. Escape from the City ( city escape) 6. Unknown from ME (theme of knuckles) 9.That's the Way I Like It ( metal harbor) 10.White Jungle (I forgot the song name!) 13. Dive into the Mellow ( aquatic mine) 15. Fly in the Freedom (theme of rouge) 17. Space Trip Steps (meteor herd) 19. Beleive in Myself (theme of tails, even though I like sonic adventure DX's version a lot better) 21. Throw it all away (theme of shadow) 23. Supporting Me... (biolizard) 24. The last Scene (is a very sad song if you saw the last scene in the game) 25. Live & Learn (main theme)

Buy it! Need I say More?,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Sonic Adventure 2 - Official Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This CD is one of those CDs with different music styles combined into one disc! There's nothing more that you can ask for if you're a #1 fan of Sonic and music-lover! Here's my opinion of the songs:-It Doesn't Matter, Sonic's Theme. Great rock-type song except not too heavy and great electric guitar parts! -Let's Make It!; I like it even though it's the shortest one on the whole CD -Escape From the City; not a bad song, but it's not too good either. I'd give it 7/10. (I'll skip some here) -Unknown From M.E.; a rap song. But I'm not a big fan of rap and at the beginning or midway through, he says the 'D' word, so if you don't want to expose yourself to bad language, avoid this one. Get this CD before it runs out! Sayonara!

The fun never ends.,
By Inspector Gadget "Go Go Gadget Reviews" (On the trail of Doctor Claw) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sonic Adventure 2 - Official Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This CD is crammed full of awesome songs and great music of many varying genres. There is something here for everyone and much of it is so exciting and so cool that I cannot understand how it cannot appeal to everybody. The beats, the rythmns, the lyrics and the massive fun that jam-pack this CD are way past cool.I'm not kidding, it's bursting at the seams with fab tunes. But one drawback, my fave song, Believe in Myself/I Wanna Fly High(featured on another Sonic Adventure CD), is sung by a different person on this CD and in a different way. It's not as happy and light-hearted as it used to be but is still a great song tho. Definitely buy this if you are a fan of music. It can be enjoyed by everyone, not just soundtrack or video game fans. A truly great CD. No doubt.

Okay,I'm a Sonic Fan I love the music,But I got 'cube(Gamecube)I love sonic so I figured instead of listening to it on SA2B I have it anywhere I go...(Screams "WAY PAST COOL THIS IS SO AWSOME!!!")Now into the Review Sonic's all rock rules Knuckles makes rap look way past cool, well you get the Idea, now for the finishing touches buy SA2B or SA2 for DC or GCN.I also like Sonic Adventure and Sonic Shuffle. Just a message for all you not cool people, you know who you are DC is okay I guess but buy a 'cube. It's Awsome, but over.NO OFFENCE. So as conclusion appears like OMOCHAO BUY IT OR OMOCHAO WILL TELL THE PRINCIPAL. LOL LATER

Wondertastic-ish! That is, if you skip Knuckles's songs.,
By Rykerr Kalmaron "Game Guru" (Michigan, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sonic Adventure 2 - Official Soundtrack (Audio CD)
Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast had one of the best soundtracks available for the system, and it really made the gameplay stand out among the 'Super Mario's and 'Megaman X's in the wide world of gaming. And, I suspect after many MANY requests, they've finally decided to come out with the soundtrack. About time! The Rock and Techno beats are kickin', but I couldn't give it five stars due to the fairly annoying Rap and Austin Powers-style music that adorn Knuckles's and Rouge's (respectively) tunes. But make no mistake; Sonic and Shadow's songs will please ANYONE that appreciates Rock 'n Rave, and if you wanted to hear the complete versions of "Live and Learn" and (the awesome) theme from Sonic's first level, your wish has been granted. Adrenaline rushes abound. Enjoy music? Get it! There's a little of everything on this CD ...excluding Country, of course.
