Beware - Not the 113 decibal model, November 2, 2005
Sonic Boom makes two 113 decibel alarm clock with a Bed Shaker (identical looking to this one) but this is not it. I bought this by mistake and I'm very disappointed but it's really my bad. Identical looking with this model, the SB300ss SBD375ss are the ones with a 113 decibel alarm (supposedly louder than a smoke alarm!) The alarm on this clock is _pitiful_. It's softer than a regular alarm clock. The previous reviewer is mistaken in stating that this clock has a loud alarm. He was probably referring to one of the models I've mentioned above. Don't make the mistake I made. I gave it four stars for the bed shaker (pretty powerful!) that I put under my mattress. If this had the loud alarm I thought it had, I would have given it 5 stars. The casing is a bit crude and cheap looking (looks a lot better in the picture.) If you don't want/need the 113 decibel alarm, go with this one. Otherwise get one of the other 2 models with a 113 decibel alarm.

In the running for worst designed alarm clock ever, December 3, 2008
This review is from: Sonic Alert SBR350ss Sonic Boom Vibrating Alarm Clock with AM/FM Radio (Health and Beauty)
I bought this clock because I have a hella hard time getting up in the morning. But it is simply not worth your money. The LCD display letters are too bright, even on the dim view, and I have to lay it flat when I sleep. The alarm clock has AM/FM alarm feature, which is why I bought it, so I could use the radio alarm and vibrating feature at the same time but it turns out you can't use them at the same time!!! If someone is buying a radio/vibrating alarm, you'd assume it was because they wanted to use them both. Furthermore, the thing doesn't work at random, about once every few days, and you see all those little buttons on top? The second one down from the right is the button to turn it off, the third from the right is the snooze. They are right next to each other, the same size, and in the middle of a bunch of other small buttons. A snooze button should be large and easily distinguishable from other buttons. I don't know how many times I've accidentally turned it off instead, defeating the whole purpose. Easily the worst designed alarm clock I've ever bought. Yeah, it vibrates, and it does a good job at that, when it works, when you haven't accidentally turned it off or thrown it across the room because it's blinding you (you can't place it across the room, by the way, the vibrator cord is too short).
A piece of junk.

The best darn alarm clock money can buy, November 3, 2006
I was one of these people that would not wake up at the sound of any alarm. What can I say, i'm a heavy sleeper. However, I was introduced to this new idea of having a vibration stimulus instead of a sound stimulus. I was skeptical at first because the main population in which this product was targeted it to was the elderly. I'm not that old, i'm only 25. Basically, it's the best...try it, you'll never go back to sound.
