When I first received this backpack from Amazon, I was elated to know that I could continue biking and skating to school across busy roads without the hinderance of earphones. Placing the batteries into the amp and connecting my mp3 player, I brought my new backpack upstairs to share with my roomates. Immediately, they were impressed with the quality and sound eminating from such a tiny amplifier with equally small speakers. However, as I moved the backpack, the sound of static grew in the sound, adding pops and clips with every motion of my backpack. Worried, I disconnected all of the wires, double-checking all of the connections to make sure that a faulty connection wasn't the problem. When I had finally convinced myself that a bad connection wasn't the case, I notified Amazon and had a replacement sent to me.

Unfortunately, the same thing happened with my replacement. Although the amplifier is capable of producing robust sound for its small size, it unfortunately has quality issues with the speaker connection plugs. Although I love the concept, I wish the actual product lived up to my expectations?

Wow, mine works great, the quality if excellent. Strong material, great protection for mp3 player or media player. My speakers are fine. Nice projection and clarity at about 80%. I wouldn't go higher it gets distorted. Overall I'm really happy. I have a media player with little speakers and this is perfect for an average size room. Plus I fit my camera, accesories, two other small bags inside and I can fit plent of magazines or a couple books in the front compartment.

It is a neat idea.
One I was willing to spend 9.99 to decide if I liked.
I do not feel that it is a bad buy for 10. My problem is with volume. It is ok if you are still and it is near you. But on your back and moving it is more of elevator music then something to hear.
