I already own one of these, bought it from Costco for a lesser price than this, but they are not carrying it anymore. I bought this one for my Uncle who spends a lot of time out of home and gets bored otherwise.

Good Points:
1. Gives you what you expect from a portable i-pod Video player, but is good for listening to songs too.
2. Comes with a soft cloth bag for protecting while you travel
3. Fairly intuitive in operation
4. The power charger is the same as used by Sony PSP, avoids carrying two chargers if you are travelling

Bad Points/ Scope for improvement:
1. Battery lasts 4 hour, there is no longer life battery available (at least not that I could find). One would hope that we start seeing some standardization in battery's for portable devices...but i guess that is a long time to come.
2. Some functions only work with the supplied remote (or at least i could not figure out an easier way to do that from the main console)
3. Does not play DVD (but for the money, right on to what you would expect)

Overall, a good option, does what it is meant to, with no major disadvantages which would prohibit you from buying it.

This is ridiculous, this player description does not tell you that it WILL NOT play 3rd Generation IPODS videos or newer at all. Your required to go to Apple and purchase a cord that they do not have in stock. And from Looking at the Nano , there is no way this plug will work. Its got to be plugged into the Nano and then routed to the outside of the player , which means you cannot close the played with the cord sticking out.
It playes music great but WILL NOT play the Videos on the IPOD. Whats the point in the screen if you cant play videos?
