First of all this is more fun than finding flickies. The game is slow but its still cool to find keys its more like Mario than Sonic. I think they should rerelease all of Game Gears Sonic games onto a single disc and call it Sonic Mega Collection 2:Sonic Gear.

I bought this game and it's fun! Though prices are higher compared to real popular Sonic games like Sonic The Hedgehog 2. This is a rarer Sonic game like Sonic Drift. But it's not the prices that matter. It's the gameplay. Labyrinth of the Sky for the first emerald is easy. Labyrinth of the Sea for the second gets tougher and you have to get around quicker. I could go on, but you know. Buy it! It's worth it!

I guess different reviewers have different opinions on this game. Unlike the previous reviewer, (below) I really liked this game. I also agree with the reviewer that said this game was better than Sonic 3D Blast. In this Game Gear game, Dr. Eggman has committed the most rotten crime yet! He has taken away Sonic's speed shoes and replaced them with slow down boots so Sonic can't run or jump. When Sonic finds out about this, he becomes so furious, he does the only speedy move he can do --The spin dash. Now he must use it to obtain the keys in Dr. Eggman's labyrinth to get his shoes back or he'll never get the chance to be called Sonic again! Likes -The stages are in 3D delight. -You can set Sonic's life meter at the options menu wether you want the game to be a breeze, a challlenge, or in between. -Collecting keys and destroying robots increases your time. -Before you battle the bosses, you can slide down the slide and collect as many rings as you can. Dislikes -It is hard to use the cannon in the sea level to fling yourself up to the switch that opens the door to the bonus round. You have to hold the buttons down after you get launched in order for it to work. Otherwise, it is a really good game. Overall, 4 stars. A solid Game Gear game I would recommend playing.

I praise the Game Gear at attempting 3D graphics. (It's more like isometric but whatever) It wasn't all for naught. This game is rather challenging. The bosses in this game are rather dull, (your only tactic: Spin Dash! You can't even jump!) but the levels themselves are okay. I'm suprised that this game has some Stereo Music, in a Game Gear! (go to the sound test with headphones, and you'll know what i'm talking about.) This game has some lasting appeal, with it's "Time Attack" feature. But this game, despite it being a spin-off, doesn't measure up to it's earlier entries. But on the plus side, it's not like "the worst game ever" like i've seen on other sites. It's okay. Mainly bought this game to add to my Sonic Game Gear collection.

Sonic-Speed=???,

In this rather strange addition to the Sonic family, Sonic has been stripped of his signature speed and is forced to find three keys in eight stages. This game is fun, but Sonic fans will most likely put it down after about fifteen minutes claiming "Sonic has no speed? What's up with that?" But the game isn't that bad. It just shouldn't have taken away its main character's signature. And some of the levels are pretty darned tough.

Ok, imagine this, take a nuclear warhead and remove the explosion. Or maybe........ mario with no jump, and perhaps, video games with no controllers! Why? Why? Why, They took away the speed from sonic the hedgehog! That was the best part *smacks Sevice Games (Sega)*-The 64th Jammer |
