Sent me a broken piece of equipment did not work right out of the box, tried contacting them both ways given. They have a phone number that automatically puts you on hold when you call, no automated voice that lets you select what you are calling for at all, just the hold music. No one picked up, sat on the phone literally waiting for 45 minutes with no one picking up. I watched an entire tv show waiting for this. Tried emailing them twice with no response, Amazon even responded reminding me that I had sent an email to them but the company did no such thing. All I wanted was an exchange, not even a refund, just so I could get a working belt. This company is completely shady with no customer support at all, never ever buy from them because you will never be able to contact anyone in case something goes wrong.

While this is a cheap product and worked great for the first application/session use of 20 min, the second time I tried to use it the belt failed after 5 min. Even after getting new batteries (which turned out NOT to be the problem) I tried to get the belt to work like before but realized I was "scammed". It is a cheap plastic belt that seems to be the answer to all your problems but really just creates new ones.

product had a different box to the other item i bought but same inside, more expensive and done absolutely nothing but left me with a huge postage and handling bill wich was 4 times the price of the item shipped to australia. never shopping on here again.

The burns or red marks, that's easy. A little bit of redness is normal, don't worry about it. The blood and muscles are just doing their thing, I can't explain it, I read it somewhere and it made perfect sense. Search it.
Burns? Now that means you aren't using enough water-based gel. (Yeah, go grab the KY..and your problem is solved) And be sure to reapply more gel after every two sessions or so. Very important.
If you turn it up too high to start, you'll get discouraged. So take it easy and let it massage you first and work your way up. I have other devices like this and I will say that while this one is on the low-end, it works, and it's well worth the 6 or 7 bucks you'll spend on it. I've tried other more expensive ones so I have a little experience here.
That being said, if you're fat, just complain about that. Don't complain about this product. If you need a little definition somewhere and feel like getting it done the easy way, this is for you. The overweight, need a life coach, not an ab belt. Good luck with that.

And remember, the ONLY way you will lose weight is by burning more calories that you stuff your face with. This product is for muscle-tone. Use it properly, and you get exactly what you pay for. Well worth the money. No doubt.

Does exactly what it says it does. Worth the money. Watch the settings if you are new to this as higher settings can be painful. You need to use a lot of lube and keep the item clean to not have irritation and to keep it from hurting the skin. Works great when use properly. I only mention the above because I was skeptical at first due to bad review, but followed the instructions and found it definitely worth the price.

I've had Ab Sonic for three years. I bought it at Target. It's great. It allows me to have a productive workout, while I'm working overtime to be productive.

I reveived this item promply and was really excited about it! I guess you get what you pay for because this item was a peice of Junk. It never worked from day one and it was flimsey and not well constructed. I decided insted of complaining and spending $$ to return it that I would just take the loss and trash it where it should have been from the beginning!

Yes, you'll feel your muscles contracting. If they were really contracting to a degree worthy of being called exercise, the contractions would scare the heck out of you: You'd either feel like your whole core was paralyzed or you'd be going into an spastic, involuntary crunch. Don't worry, that won't happen. The machine isn't strong enough. (Try this: Tense up your abs..more..a little more...relax and do it again a few times, for a minute or so...thats already WAY more exercise than you'll get from the 'Ab Sonic'.) If you're a therapy patient who has a poor muscular awareness, perhaps this will help you begin to get enough feeling back to move on to a real exercise program. If your spinal cord is severed, this may be all you can do to get a little musuclar stimulation...fine. This is not exercise. It may 'remind' you to tense your abs in order to not look like a fat slob, but why not just remind -yourself-? It's not powerful enough to do do any real strengthening, and even if it was, it by-passes the most important part of your workout: the will. You aren't learning the effort of tensing the muscles, or tolerating greater stress, you're just electronically agitating the muscles. In the end, this has ZERO effect on strength, muscular development, work tolerance, and function. Are you in therapy? No? Then why are you trying -so hard- to avoid -moving- your body?

I just bought one of these for my wife. The day it arrived it worked (only used it for 5 min) and two days later It didn't work at all. This product is completely useless. I didn't even return it because it will probably cost more to send it back. If you are reading this. Don't buy It.

I used to have this ab Sonic before and lost it in one of my moves so I had to get a second one. it is a great "tool" that will help you define your muscles in between work out or when you can not make it to the gym because of a last minute business apointment or similar. I don't think it would do much on someone who do not work out at all and just think that absonic is a magic wand that would make you gain muscle and loose 20 pounds of fat overnite ;-) but I do see results and i see my abs more firm and getting more definition.. worth to try to the price ;-)
