I purchased this at a local pharmacy with the thought...."if it doesn't work it will be easy to return" Well, IT WORKS GREAT!

I have light gray tile, with grout the same color, or at least it's supposed to be. Over time, in a high traffic area the grout has turned black. I thought I'd try the sonic scrubber on the grout & see what happened. Armed with the scrubber, and softscrub gel, I went to work. I once again have light gray grout.

I will say that this little tool went through the batteries, but I was working on a large room. Have a supply of batteries on hand appropriate to the length of time you will be using it.

Loved it so much I went back & bought another for my sister in Hawaii. She's got several bathroom projects that I believe she'll love using this for.

I bought this scrubber on a whim in the midst of a major kitchen floor cleaning, and I could not be happier with the results! I cleaned my entire linoleum kitchen floor and feel confident that it cut both my time in effort at least in half. Since then, I've used it to clean EVERYTHING - faucet heads, shoes, the oven, etc. - and I've bought one for everyone I know. I give it my highest recommendation!

I had no great hopes for a battery-operated scrubber. I was certain there wouldn't be enough torque and the brush head would slow down to the point where it would barely be worth it. Boy, was I wrong. This little scrubber has a lot of power for its size. I've been using it to clean the grout lines in my new place (They're not black; who knew??) and it takes very little effort to clean out a lot of accumulated gunk.

I'm not sanguine about using this for huge jobs, but for spending ten minutes each day tackling a different part of the floor, it's pretty darn good.

Great product. Wish they made a giant version for the floor. Be careful around baseboards or painted walls as it is so powerful it will take the paint off.

We received the Sonic Scrubber as a gift from my in-laws. It worked as advertised...up to a point. I used several of the scrubbing heads to clean our shower stall, and the grout was looking pretty good. But then I went to change the head again--and half the motor assembly sheered off! I wasn't using excessive pressure or anything. The device was functional for just under an hour until this happened. The composition of the plastic simply isn't strong enough to stand up to normal use. Too bad; if not for the inferior materials, this would have been a handy cleaning tool.

I use this in shower against mold and mildew, it really gets the junk out of the cracks (even without soap or bleach) with a minimum of effort on my part, and pretty quickly too.

The sonic scrubber is an extremely handy, user friendly little device that has worked great for cleaning out the grout joints and those hard to reach areas in the shower and bathroom that tend to accumulate gunk. It really works as advertised and is well worth the money. I may buy another one to have around to use on the kitchen where we have a lot of tile on counters and walls.

I have arthritis in my hands and wrists, and this electric scrubber saves me a lot of pain. In fact, with this and a few other helpful tools, I may be able to do without a housekeeper for the first time in quite a while.

One caveat: the batteries supplied with the unit aren't very strong. I wonder if some of the negative reviews came from people who didn't think to change the batteries. I use rechargeables, and I'm amazed at the difference.

With decent batteries, this device cleans things beautifully. I particularly like the pointed brush--it really gets into cracks.

Saw this advertised on TV -- found it for a great price on Amazon (big surprise). It's a little powerhouse, and, so far, hasn't been real hard on batteries. A lot of the floors in our new-to-us home are tile -- with incredibly old, never-before-cleaned grout, that I've recently discovered isn't really brown, it's gray. It's a slow process, more the fault of the dirt build up than the cleaner -- 30 years is a long time to go without a good cleaning. This is the ONLY thing I've found that will remove that ground in, built-up grime; believe me, I've tried everything, right down to wire brushes. My biggest difficulty is letting the scrubber do the work, instead of trying to apply the usual ton of elbow grease. I wish it had just one more, smaller soft brush, but am quite impressed nonetheless. My husband has even used it on the sink, faucets, etc., and was pleased. Can't be beat for the price, that's for sure. Would highly recommend, even though the color combination's a little jarring.

I have to wonder if the folks giving this product such low reviews even have the same product that the rest of us have!

Our master bathroom shower has a cross-hatch anti-slip design embossed on the floor. Dirt, soap scum, mold, gunk, all get caught in the little diamonds. For years I've tried to find something to clean it effectively. The closest I came was with a Magic Eraser, some strong cleaner, and a lot of elbow grease - but even 30+ minutes of scrubbing still left a lot of the junk on the bottom of the shower.

15 minutes with the Sonic Scrubber and my shower floor is cleaner than it's been since we first bought the house. All the black gunk and soap scum is gone! I can't wait to try it out on some other difficult to clean places in the house.
