Sonicrafter Adapter for Various Multi-Tools

This is a relatively simple piece - it adapts tools from other oscillating tools like the Fein to work with the Sonicrafter. There is not much to say about the item, except that it works as advertised. The important part of this review is that the vendor did a great job - well priced and excellent fast delivery. I have hammered other vendors on Amazon for their cost shipping, but this vendor was appropriately priced.

I recently bought a Sonicrafter 72 piece set through Amazon and when it arrived the outside package shows that this is "not" included so I ordered one to use with items that work on other multi tools. I did "not" look in the box that holds all the accessories until recently I was showing a friend everything that comes with the 72 piece set and there was the adapter!!! Unfortunately I had ordered this adapter just a few days earlier. Now I have an extra.

But I think the Bosch one is better ! I wonder about how well the rounded bumps will remain engaged in the alien attachments, it would seem only extreme torque on the attachment screw will stop things from slipping ... So I bought the Bosch adapter as soon as it came out ;)

Not having used a sonicrafter before, and wanting to buy cheaper aftermarket accessories, i decided to plunge into this purchase without exactly understanding how the attachments would fit onto this thing. I was a little worried once I got it home and tried fitting a blade to it & tightening on the Sonicrafter, but I found no issue with the performance when I tried cutting with it.

I'd seen some people complain that some of the blades would move on them, but I've had no such issue so far. I'll update the review if I have anything different to report in the future. $10 well spent!

Item was as described. It appears to be well made. I have not used it yet and will report back if I find there is anything to be added. One thing: The Sonicrafter kit that I purchased already had one of these included,so I did not need to purchase this second one.
