I also purchased this lamp and it did not work. I had to jiggle the light bulb every time I tried to turn it on. Some times it worked, some times it didn't. This lamp is junk.

I saw the above two reviews too late and bought this lamp from another source to use up a store credit. I could not get it to work, its only use is as a paperweight.

I purchased this lamp from Lamps Plus. It gave me a year of lighting; however the bulb started to dim and flicker. I replaced the bulb only to finally figure out the 12v transformer had gone bad. "Jiggling" the bulb and repeatedly having to turn on and off the light seemed to help.

Not reliable enough to warrant the high price.
