5.0 out of 5 stars Skillful blend of history and mystery, December 19, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Sonora Wind, Ill Wind (Paperback)
Florence Weinberg has succeeded in skillfully blending geographic and religious history in this fast-paced historical fiction mystery novel. Readers who appreciate suspense and history will particularly enjoy Sonora Wind, Ill Wind and delight in Weinberg's combination of an early American southwest setting and the Jesuits who strove to set roots in that part of the country. Readers who get involved with Father Ignatz Pfefferkorn's sleuthing will be glad to know that Weinberg is planning more novels with this intriguing character.
