If you have a Sonos player and a Kindle Fire you will enjoy this app. After you download it, if you already have a Sonos system, just push the "+" and the "mute" buttons simultaneously. Next your all your zones will show up on the Fire screen. If you are asked to update the software just push any zone to start the process and all the other zones will also be automatically updated too. After that you will have a super controller for your Sonos system.

I called Sonos the day the Kindle Fire was announced to find out if they would be making this app available on Amazon. Really glad to see it here. It's a snap to install, just follow the instructions when you start the app. Make sure all your zones are turned on before you start the process.

I live in Brasil. I bought Kindle Fire and SONOS systems. I want to donwload this APP but there is a "geographical limitation" ? Does not make any sense to me. Any way, I donwloaded and installed a smartphone version, backup it in the smartphone generating the APK, sent the APK to Kinde Fire and installed it on Kindle Fire. Not the easiest and best option, but considering this "geographical limitation" ... it worked.

The app is well thought out and has a lot of functions that make finding and playing music very easy. The download,Installation, and setup was quick and easy depending on the specific hardware device used. Example, when installed on my Nexus 7 Tablet the app installed flawlessly and all functions worked as expected. For this installation I would rate the app a 5. However, when I installed it on a Polaroid PMID4311 tablet running Android 4.0 it turned out to be very frustrating. I was not able to get all the app's functions to install. I would give this installation a 3. I don't know if the problem is with the app or the hardware.

There is one drawback with the app I wasn't aware of before downloading. My initial thought was to make the Polaroid tablet a music server as well as a controller by placing music on the tablets SDHC card. I had to call Sonos support to find out the app can't access music on the SDHC card.

A word about Sonos Customer Support. The support is excellent in every way; E-mails are answered promptly, Phone calls are answered by people here in the USA. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you don't follow up to let them know your problem is solved, they contact you to see what else is required to solve your problem. It's the old fashion customer service that makes you feel important.I just love it.
I highly recommend the Sonos System. Great sounding equipment.

apps that wont download are useless. please fix this. a sonos is not very useful if you have to go to the.computer room to start/stop everytime. It worked fine until they had an update.

Bought an inexpensive mini Gadget to use soley as a controller for my Sonos system,

Delighted with it until Sonos released an update, it failed to load & is now useless, I have even deleted the original app & tried to load it again, but just says "Sonos not recognised"

have spent hours trying to find a solution & have now lost the will to live!!

Anyone able to help?????
