Book Description

Silhouette Special Edition May 1, 2004
From the moment little Angus Calder's kite disrupted her beachfront nap, Kenzie Daniels was a goner. And the energetic seven-year-old seemed just as smitten...unlike his heart-stopping, coolly conservative dad. Ross Calder obviously didn't want his son growing attached to Kenzie, so why was she still so drawn to the father struggling to form a bond with the son he'd never known? The beach holiday was supposed to bring Ross and his son closer, yet the free-spirited beauty was the one they were both forming an attachment to. While the level-headed lawyer didn't deny his attraction, he wouldn't risk his son's heart breaking when they went home and bid Kenzie goodbye. After all, Angus' heart was the only one at risk...wasn't it?

5.0 out of 5 stars Beaches, rescued sea birds and a feisty love, April 26, 2004

This review is from: For His Son's Sake (Silhouette Special Edition No. 1614) (Mass Market Paperback)
This was a very sweet book and really brought the North Carolina Outer Banks to life. Seabird rescue, a loggerhead turtle hatch and a sizzling love affair between an "absentee father" and a dog/bird/cat/beach lover made for an entertaining read. Ms. Marsh always makes you feel as though you are living the book, not just reading it. And you couldn't help but root for the boy, Angus, and hope he'd get the mother he so clearly wanted.
