A Marine Corps lawyer is assigned to prosecute his first death penalty case, involving the gang-shootings of two high ranking military officers. His world unravels when his father, the local sheriff, investigating a corrupt police force, turns up missing in the mountains of his Colorado hometown. As he joins his brother and the state's Governor to help solve the corruption investigation a mysterious alliance is discovered that exposes his father's past and a secret organization. When politics turn on him, and he the prosecutor becomes the prosecuted, he finally faces the military's justice system and his family's hidden secrets.
