Underrated Baroque master, December 7, 2000

Arcangelo Corelli is a genius of the early Baroque. Like other Italian Baroque masters, his sonatas and concertos resemble one another signifiantly. However, I find him superior even to Vivaldi in the warmth and beauty of his creation.Rich in counterpoint, his music merits more attention than it currently receives.
