Customer Reviews

Very good sound.
Key-Wright
Setup is painless - if you have NFC on your phone it's super easy, or standard bluetooth pairing works fine as well.
chicagodave
Sound quality is just as good as if you were using wired headphones.

I was looking for a bluetooth receiver for my home stereo. I was sure I was going to get the Belkin or Logitech receiver... Then I found this little jewel. Not only can I use it as a bluetooth receiver for my home stereo, but I can also use it in my car through the aux port and when exercising with the headphones! A true multipurpose device!

So far it's a great little device that does everything I wanted!

Pros:
It's small!
Decent bluetooth range. 30ft line of site and about 20ft if around a corner
Headphones sound pretty good overall (and I have not burned them in)
Sturdy metal rotating clip
Simple pairing (no issues with my rooted s3)
Sound quality is virtually as good as the headset output (very minor loss at the top and bottom end)

Cons:
It's small and all the buttons are the same color so it's hard to find the buttons sometimes
You have to recharge it. If you are looking for something that is dedicated to your home or car stereo then there are probably better options that are not battery operated. But for the functionality of this device I'm ok with having to charge it!
Headphone cord could be a bit longer... But you can use any headphone with a 3.5mm (1/8") plug.
No way to tell the charge of the battery.

I've only had it for a week and have yet to need to charge it, using it an hour or two a day. I'll report back if battery life is horrible.

Update: 7/9/13 Battery life is just OK. I connected this to my home stereo and streamed music from my phone about 15 feet away. I got just about 4.5 hours of play time. I was hoping for more, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Also, when the battery starts to get low it will start to beep (through the audio source) every so often.

If you believe in the power of reviews, believe in this one. These headphones are stunning.

1) Bluetooth 3.0 -- This is the best option on the market. This has high quality transfer at low power consumption. Be weary of all the others out there that are only 2.0 or 2.1. That is ancient technology. 3.0 is the best available right now.

2) Cheap -- This is half, or in some cases a third! of the cost of the other headphones. Bluebirds go for 120-150 and these are just as good.

3) Great Design -- The device is small and simple. Everything you need. Intelligently laid-out. Doesn't feel cheap. No stupid buttons.

4) GREAT Sound -- I'm an amateur audiophile and these are pretty darn good. About as good as you're going to get in a bluetooth headset with in-ear buds.

5) Headphones aren't actually that bad -- Yes, you can plug in anything, but the stock buds are pretty decent.

6) Don't look stupid -- The other headphones on the market stick out of your ear and look ridiculous. Jaybirds, Backbeat Go2... those headphones are HUGE. You look like you're wearing hearing aids (the 1980 kind). These are normal headphones with the electronics in the square, not the buds (where it should be!). As a result, you're not gonna get funny looks.

7) As of this review, there are about 20 people who've written 5-star reviews, with very few negative. There's a reason for that.

Color Name: BlackSize Name: Old Bluetooth 3.0 Verified Purchase
Test time: More than 6 months.

Main use: HTC One M7 / PlayStation Vita

Q: Whats in the box?
A: SBH20B unit, very short micro usb cable - for charging (standard android phone micro usb) and very short wired headphones.

Q: Are the included headphones good?
A: No. You can trash them as soon you take them out of the box.

Q: Can i use my choice of headphones then?
A: Yes. Any 3.5mm headphones will work. Any 2-pins (stereo) or 3-pins (stereo + mic) headphones are supported by device.

Q: Charging cable is too short. I am too lazy to turn on my computer every time i need to charge. Do i have other options?
A: Yes. You can use cell phone charger and cell phone charger cable. I've been using HTC One M7 charger and cable since day one. No problems so far.

Build Quality: 5/5 Very lightweight. Sturdy plastic with metal clip. Still mint after several months of heavy use.

Battery Life: 5/5 Can last 24 hours of heavy abuse. I always use it when driving, when playing on my PS Vita, when i want to listen my heavy metal music and every night when going to bed. Note that i listen music until falling asleep, so unit is left on all night long and still got juice in the morning. Unit goes stand-by mode when is on and no music is being played helping to save precious battery life. Note - I usually turn off the unit when not using (except for bed time).

Q: How often do you charge it?
A: Every day on the morning. First thing i do at wake up is to unplug my cell phone and connect unit using same cable. Unit takes from 15 to 30 minutes to fully charge.

Q: Does the unit tell u somehow when batteries are about to die?
A: Yes. You will hear an alert on headphones.
