I purchased this charger because it said that it charges two batteries at the same time BUT it DOES NOT and that is the reason that I gave it three stars instead of five. Why have two places to charge the battery when you can only charge one battery at a time? If both batteries are in the charger, it will not charge one and then the other as you have to remove the charged battery BEFORE it will charge the other battery! Other than that, I like the information that the charger gives and it does charge the battery fast. It is not worth spending the extra money as a regular charger would have been for me. If you are looking for a charger to charge TWO batteries at the same time, then this is NOT the one but if you are looking for a charger with details on the condition of your battery, then this is the one for you.

I bought a HC3 HD camcorder.. And this charger because it'll charge 2 batteries.. Wrong.
It will charge one(1) battery at a time.. It will give you the LiInfo to let you know
how long til the battery is done (fast and full).. And it is accurate.. It also comes with a cable that goes to the camcorder.. So.. You can run the camera and charge the batteries at the same time from the same unit.. Sony did good with this unit. Very satisfied..

The price here was the best I found and the charger works as well as expected. It's great to be able to charge both my batteries and it charges in good time! A great item for a great price!

The best thing is the LCD displays all information you need to know in charging batteries - how much longer will it go?
I've used this product for more than six months and it works as stable as it does. Great product!

A little con is the misleading in the web page, as others mentioned, it can charge only ONE battery at a time.
Since it's not product's fault, I still rate it as a 5 stars product.

This item works like it's supposed to. Place battery in charger, plug charger in to wall, charges battery. This can't be any more simpler. Good product. (Will also power DCR Cameras, but why?)
