Great CD Player! We bought for my six year old and she loves it. It's very easy to use and light weight.
The handle makes it very easy for portability.
The only negative thing I have to say is the description says it has a digital radio, but it doesn't.
You have to turn a nob to change the channel and the read out for the station is not digital.
We bought it for the CD player part of it and are very happy with it. The radio does tune and work
just fine also by the way. It's a great product for the price!

This was purchased for my granddaughter's birthday. She was so thrilled b/c mainly it was PINK! Hard to find in most stores! I liked it b/c I did my homework and all the sites rated this one very high. I'm trusting being a good brand (Sony) that it will live up to its name! So far~ so good! She's carries it all over the place outside & in (when using the batteries)- with her girlfriends! So it's easy for a 6 yr old to handle. It also is intuitive for her to understand the dials and what to do. It doesn't skip, and is balanced. If its a "hit" with a 6 yr old "very picky" lil gurl-- then its GOOD TO GO! [in my book!] She LOVES IT! I'm basing this on 6 weeks of "heavy" use - and counting!

I purchased this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She absolutely loves it and I'm thrilled with the quality. The buttons are easy to use and the sound is quite good. It has even stood up to my 2 year old's battering. Would definately buy this again.

The description for this item states a digital tuner. Um no. It is the old dial tuners. I purchased this for my four year old daughter so we can play her music cds. The sound quality is not especially good and you have to have the volume almost all the way up or it is just too quiet. I suppose it is ok for a four year old but not worth the money. I guess I expected more out of a Sony product than what I had received.

We bought this for our nine-year-old daughter and she loves it! I think the price should be a bit lower, however, since there is no bass/treble control and definitely does NOT feature a digital tuner. Portable, easy to use... we have no complaints.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It is basic, pink, and you can plug in an ipod to the input/output jack. I wasn't looking for a Bose radio, and this has pretty decent sound for the price (It was way cheaper here than in the stores). It's just a great, all-purpose boombox.

We purchased this product for our two year old to use to play her CDs. So far it has stood up to 3 months of two year old play. The audio-in jack is nice too if we want to hook up the ipod.

Recieved radio and didn't open till it was time to wrap it for my daughters birthday. Noticed it did not have a digital AM/FM tuner. I would have returned it but it was too late. Not a big deal, but the old turn a knob style doesn't really hold the station too well. She likes it and doens't know the difference.

I wanted a cd player for my infant daughter's room to play music at night. I love the Sony brand, but when I saw they had this in pink I thougth this was perfect. When it arrived my 3 year old son fell in love with it and wanted it for his room. Needless to say that afternoon I ordered the same radio in blue. The sound is very good and the controls are simple. I do not know about the battery life because I leave them both plugged into the wall outlet. This is a great cd player for kids.

I bought one of these for each of my children. It is very easy to use and has great sound, which is the reason I went with Sony and not some off brand. It is extemely basic though, so if you're looking for it to do things like "shuffle" or "repeat" a cd, look elsewhere. These are features I would've liked to see since my toddlers listen to lullaby cds when going to bed and a repeat feature to carry them to dreamland would be nice. As for quality though, this has it.
