SONY's best HD TV, February 12, 2008
This review is from: Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-37M3000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
This is the best Bravia in the Sony series, bar none. It combines the best features of the 32-inch tabletop models (sound, clarity, ease of operation) and makes the perfect fit for any normal living room, den or bedroom. Too many people are buying huge screens which are out of sync with average living conditions. Unless you live in a huge house, anything over 40 inches is not only a waste of money, but an HD nightmare. While 40 can be too big and 32 too small, 37 is just right and it pops out like a movie theater. Carrie Underwood was in my living room last night.
The Sony 37-incher comes out of the box and easily slides into the pre-assembled stand. Turn it on, set your language and auto program and you are in business. Plug and play HD's are hard to find at any price. The HD color (pre-set by the factory) is amazing and unlike many TV's of this genre, the SD quality is more than adequate. Most cable companies are now offering two tier channel services for HD vs. SD and it makes it easier to select your program based on its brodcast band. And put away your cumbersome home theater speakers. The sound production on just two internal speakers will blow you away! Use HDMI cables and I defy anyone to say this 720 does not match a 1080P and in fact, the cables boost the quality to at least 1080!. Add a Phillips DVD player for $40 for Wallmart and you have it all.
For little more than $1,000, there is no way you can go wrong with this SONY. Grab this before it is off the market or reaches a new price point.

Sony Bravia KDL-37M3000, July 24, 2008
This review is from: Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-37M3000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
The only problem with SONY TV's is that they, like the Energizer Bunny, keep going and going and going. My 1986 Sony 19 inch needed a big brother and after looking at Sharp and Samsung and others I concluded that the SONY LCD 37 inch Bravia 3000 was the logical choice. The 37 inch is large enough for the average sized living room, the remote simple and 'uncluttered' containing only the functions and features you will use 99% of the time, and nothing more. The menu system is easy to understand and interact with, and has my favorite feature, seemingly unique to SONY, the INFO BANNER, that displays the title of the program currently aired. The picture quality is excellent and does not have that overly emphasized contrast that many lesser brands use like a fishing lure to entice the unwary buyer. SONY, simply put, is a great product overall, and the Bravia LCD in particular is well designed having fantastic well balanced warm natural colors, sufficient controls to enhance picture and sound to your personal taste and an array of inputs that satisfy most needs. If there is any doubt, yes I am a loyal SONY customer because once you have had the best there is no substitute.

Best Buy for LCD TV, April 27, 2008
This review is from: Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-37M3000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
The quality of this brand is outstanding. The colors are bright and vivid and the picture is clear. The viewing angles are amazing at 178 degrees, which puts you pretty much standing right along side the tv. The price is a little bit more then other brands, but I promise, you won't be unhappy with this purchase. I liked my first Bravia so much, this makes my second purchase of this brand.
