5.0 out of 5 stars SONY's best HD TV
This is the best Bravia in the Sony series, bar none. It combines the best features of the 32-inch tabletop models (sound, clarity, ease of operation) and makes the perfect fit for any normal living room, den or bedroom. This is the best Bravia in the Sony series, bar none. It combines the best features of the 32-inch tabletop models (sound, clarity, ease of operation) and makes the perfect fit for any normal living room, den or bedroom. Too many people are buying huge screens which are out of sync with average living conditions. Unless you live in a huge house, anything over 40 inches is not only a waste of money, but an HD nightmare. While 40 can be too big and 32 too small, 37 is just right and it pops out like a movie theater. Carrie Underwood was in my living room last night.

The Sony 37-incher comes out of the box and easily slides into the pre-assembled stand. Turn it on, set your language and auto program and you are in business. Plug and play HD's are hard to find at any price. The HD color (pre-set by the factory) is amazing and unlike many TV's of this genre, the SD quality is more than adequate. Most cable companies are now offering two tier channel services for HD vs. SD and it makes it easier to select your program based on its brodcast band. And put away your cumbersome home theater speakers. The sound production on just two internal speakers will blow you away! Use HDMI cables and I defy anyone to say this 720 does not match a 1080P and in fact, the cables boost the quality to at least 1080!. Add a Phillips DVD player for $40 for Wallmart and you have it all.

For little more than $1,000, there is no way you can go wrong with this SONY. Grab this before it is off the market or reaches a new price point.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sony Bravia KDL-37M3000, July 24, 2008

The only problem with SONY TV's is that they, like the Energizer Bunny, keep going and going and going. My 1986 Sony 19 inch needed a big brother and after looking at Sharp and Samsung and others I concluded that the SONY LCD 37 inch Bravia 3000 was the logical choice. The 37 inch is large enough for the average sized living room, the remote simple and 'uncluttered' containing only the functions and features you will use 99% of the time, and nothing more. The menu system is easy to understand and interact with, and has my favorite feature, seemingly unique to SONY, the INFO BANNER, that displays the title of the program currently aired. The picture quality is excellent and does not have that overly emphasized contrast that many lesser brands use like a fishing lure to entice the unwary buyer. SONY, simply put, is a great product overall, and the Bravia LCD in particular is well designed having fantastic well balanced warm natural colors, sufficient controls to enhance picture and sound to your personal taste and an array of inputs that satisfy most needs. If there is any doubt, yes I am a loyal SONY customer because once you have had the best there is no substitute.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Buy for LCD TV, April 27, 2008
This review is from: Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-37M3000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
The quality of this brand is outstanding. The colors are bright and vivid and the picture is clear. The viewing angles are amazing at 178 degrees, which puts you pretty much standing right along side the tv. The price is a little bit more then other brands, but I promise, you won't be unhappy with this purchase. I liked my first Bravia so much, this makes my second purchase of this brand.

There may be other slightly cheaper brands with good looks or good picture quality, but none of them have both, like this Sony Bravia. Add to this the Sony name and competitive pricing, this Sony Bravia easily beats its competition.

The contrast is excellent and the display is bright. I think the picture quality actually beats my 46" Bravia I bought last year. I haven't used any yet but it's got plenty of input options, including VGA and HDMI ports. I highly recommend this set.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Value for the money, June 13, 2008
This review is from: Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-37M3000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
This TV is so much superior to the Olevia 37" LCD that we purchased a two years ago. I only wish I had waited and purchased two of the Sony Bravia's instead. Much better at showing dark areas of the screen. Works great with my Apple TV, Sony DVD, and cable connection. You can count me as one VERY HAPPY customer!

FANTASTIC TV WITH A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE. BOUGHT IT ON SALE FOR $899 WITH FREE SHIPPING AND NO SALES TAX. I WAS A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT BUYING A TV THROUGH THE INTERNET BECAUSE I WAS UNSURE IF WOULD ARRIVE SAFELY. IT WAS VERY WELL PACKED AND EASY TO SET UP. THE 37" WAS A GOOD CHOICE FOR OUR DEN. WE ARE THRILLED WITH IT. IT'S AMAZING ALL THE DETAILS IT PICKS UP THAT WE COULDN'T GET ON THE OLD SET. HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS ONE!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sony Bravia M-Series 37 inch LCD TV, July 8, 2009
This review is from: Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-37M3000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
I recently picked this tv up used and am happy with the TV. The sound is average, the picture is bright and the colors appear decent. I dont think the M-series is the top of the line Bravia as another reviewer claimed. The back lighting is a little too bright, so blacks are not super dark (even with it turned all the way down). The external styling is nice and simple. Too many LCD manufacturers are using glossy black finishes that in my opinion look horrid.

1.0 out of 5 stars bad decision, June 4, 2008
This review is from: Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-37M3000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
I am working overseas and purchased this television for my Parents. we are so disappointed because the picture quality is very poor. My parents had the cable company come out to check the connections, and decided to change the cable connection from the pole to the television but the picture quality is still bad. We contacted Sony and they are sending a replacement TV to my parent's house under the warranty ,but my fear is that I have purchased a television that is made to a poor standard. Just hope that the replacement lives up to the quality that I expected from Sony
