DO NOT BUY THIS CASE....I repeat DO NOT BUY IT. Get it only if it is free when you buy the CD Player, as it is a terribly designed product, not worth paying $15.

I got my Sony DNF-400 CD Player today along with this case. I have not yet been able to insert the CD Player into it, as it such a tight fit. I gave up after trying to squeeze it, as I did not want to scratch my spanking new CD Player. On top of that the people who designed it, thought that folks would never want to changed the track or adust the volume. It has an opening for the Display, but no opening for the buttons. The volume button is also hidden under the zipper.

What good is a case like this and I am shocked that Sony would make such a thing, it is not like cheap case that I brought from the sidewalk. This is made by the manufacturer of the CD Player and it is not compatible with it's design.

Problems:

1. If you are an obese man, there is a big chance it won't fit you. I am not extremely fat, and I was lucky that at maximum length it fit me.

2. Whoever designed this case was a really stupid person, or has never seen a Sony CD Walkman. The front of the case should have been transparent, at least where the buttons are, so that you can select the tracks in a non-consecutive order, you can switch to radio etc. Instead they left a window for the display, like I would be interested in reading it when I wear the player on my belt.

3. It is a very snug fit, so even if you wanted to take out the player to switch to radio, you cannot do it, or it's not an easy task to do.

Overall, getting this accessory should not influence you, in any way, in choosing Sony or a certain player Amazon has on sale. At least the NF-400 is outstanding...

THIS CD CASE IS VERY BAD!! IT CAN"t FIR ANY CD PLAYERS IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I GAVE UP TRYING TO SQUEEZE IT IN WHEN MY BUTTONS POPED OUT!

Just want to add my low opinion of this case to the other reviews here and confirm once again to shoppers that this is not worth the very low price it is sold for here.
I purchased the Sony D-FJ200 Walkman Portable CD Player with Digital AM / FM / TV / Weather Tuner - I tried to insert a link to this, but because there are none available at this time I couldn't, but BTW is a great little CD player. And as far as fit goes, it was snug - very snug, took a little work to get the CD player into the case - but was very tough to zip up and with the headphone jack in it was impossible to be properly zipped at all.There are no opneings for any kind of attachments.

Once it is in, and you are walking around with your walkman, it is quite a project if you want to stop it to talk to someone, start again or reverse to hear something you may have missed(I listen to audio books). The only opening in the case is on the front top portion.Small enough so you could only have one function available to your fingertips. If the player is inserted with the top at the top of the case, you would could only push stop(on my model) and then have to take the player out, or manuever it around to get back to play or reverse tracks. It is quite annoying and frustrating.

The belt is adjustable and seems to work fine with plenty of length, but I didn't use that much as I prefer to keep it in a pocket- like roomier side pockets. The only thing this case is good for is protection for your player as it has a nice cushiony,protective lining.These are my only reasons for going 2 stars instead of 1.

I was offered this case at the time of my CD player at a deal I thought was great at the time and jumped on it. Now I would say even if it was free I wouldn't recommend it as it may raise your blood pressure just trying to get to the play options on the player.

I TOOK A CHANCE AND BOUGHT THIS FOR MY PORTABLE CD PLAYER.IT,S A GOOD PRODUCT BUT MY CD DID NOT FIT IN IT.NOT WORTH SENDING IT BACK.

I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE DISAPPOINTED WITH SOMETHING SOLD ON AMAZON. THIS CASE IS ADVERTISED AS FITTING ALL SONY CD PLAYERS. I HAVE 4 SONY PLAYERS AND IT DOESN'T FIT ANY OF THEM. CD PLAYERS NO LONGER HAVE TOP VIEW TRACK INFO. VERY DISAPPOINTED A BIG WASTE OF MONEY

This case was offered as a super deal to go with the Sony CD walkman I purchased. The player does not fit in the case. Thus the case is useless and I am out the money for it. I have been thinking of returning it, but haven't gotten around to it.

This carrying case was sold with the Sony D-NS505 S2 Sports ATRAC Walkman Portable CD Player. The case does NOT fit the CD player. We enjoy the player, but I am disappointed that the carrying case did not fit the player, especially since they were sold together.

I purchased the Walkman carry case but it didn't fit the walkman I bought it for and I buy @ Amazon because I don't have the time to be shopping around. I was really dissapointed.

Did not fit the sony CD Player I bought with it--not even close. It would cost me more to return than I paid for it. Not fair to customers.
