The Sony CDP-CE375 CD Player offers more groove, with less disc changing. Load up to 5 of your favorite discs and let the changer play each one all the way through, or choose shuffle for a surprise mix from any combination of discs.
Load up to five CDs in the carousel-style changer tray to keep your music enjoyment going for hours. Need to swap out discs? No problem--you can exchange up to four discs while the fifth one is still playing.
The CDP-CE375 plays rewritable CDs in addition to commercial discs, so you can groove to your favorite personal mixes as well as your complete album collection.
One analog variable line output and one optical audio digital output in addition to a conventional RCA output gives you maximum flexibility when integrating the CDP-CE375 into your stereo or home theater system.
A 20-track music calendar on the crisp LCD display gives you quick access to your tracks--use the jog dial for Direct Access track selection and spend less downtime manually clicking through your track list. And the 32-step programming lets you create playlists on the fly for a custom music experience.
The CDP-CE375 offers a 5-second fade-in/fade-out feature for smooth transition between your tunes. A Time Edit feature lets you specify set time lengths for recording when the CD player is the source.
Sony's exclusive Hybrid Pulse DAC delivers a very clean constant current source to generate extremely accurate 1-bit 'pulses' prior to the digital CD content's conversion to analog, ensuring crisp, clean sound.
A full-featured Remote Commander remote control is included to give you complete functionality from anywhere in the room.

Sony's CDP-CE375 May Have Some Flaws!,
By highway_star (Hallandale, Florida United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sony CDP-CE375 5-Disc Carousel-Style CD Changer (Electronics)
My Sony CDP-CE375 5-disc carousel changer had a major flaw which may or may not be present in all their units. When loading a cd in tray 1 often the cd player would not drop the disc down into it's play position and therefore the front info. panel would say "No Disc". You would have to press "open" and then "close" it again before the cd player would then do it the proper way. This can be very irritating to say the least. This particular cd player does have remote control as well as a headphone jack. There are volume controls on the remote which allow one to control the volume when using the headphone jack. There's also a jog dial to quickly switch tracks. You can play cd's, cdr's and cdrw's in the unit. A cool function of this unit is that you can change discs while one is playing. Also, this player has digital optical out if you want to record cd's digitally from the player to a cd recorder. The sound quality is excellent and I had no problems playing back cdr's or cdrw's. A good unit if the above mentioned problem didn't exist.

Intermittent CD Player,
By "jbmgman" (Dublin, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sony CDP-CE375 5-Disc Carousel-Style CD Changer (Electronics)
I have returned this unit twice to no avail. It has an irritating flaw of not recognizing/not loading a CD and skipping its place in the tray. Sometimes it plays all five CDs, sometimes only one. Not what I expected from Sony.

Don't Buy It - You'll Regret It,

This review is from: Sony CDP-CE375 5-Disc Carousel-Style CD Changer (Electronics)
There are brands I trust and ones I don't. Sony has always been a trusted brand. But after buying and returning two of these units for very basic operationing flaws my confidence is shaken. I should have read these other reviews before I made my purchase, but because this unit is a Sony I trusted it would be a superior product. The problems I had in both units are the same ones mentioned by other reviews: When playing CDs in random mode the unit consistently fails to play all the songs before failing to load a CD and quitting. I followed the advice of another reviewer and bought the ONKYO DX C390 6 disc changer. I am hoping I have better luck.
