The 355, 300 disc unit. My first one lasted three years, lasted up to a few days before the extended warrantee expired. It kept hunting for a disc endlessly and would not play. The unit was replaced with a new one and the replacement lasted just over one year ending with the same problem, just beyond factory warrantee. I advise against the 355 unit. The company I bought it from stated the model had some problems.

2 Stars was because it had nice features, looked nice, easy to set up, had a delete file of the tracks I don't like, and played well when it worked. Unreliable, but maybe Good if you get a 5 year extended policy and plan to take it in.

I have owned 2 - 300 Sony CD changers for over 5 years. Both perform flawlessly. Perfect mechanical functioning and outstanding sound when connected to my Onkyo amplifier and Bose speakers. This is a perfect product except for its depth, which makes it a little hard to store in an audio cabinet. Small price to pay for such convenience, quality, and reliability.

After 10 yrs my Sony 200 disc changer started to have problems. This 300 disc changer was the same exact size as my old one, gives me the extra room to add more cd's, and matches my existing Sony components. The unit arrived sooner than the estimated ship date, in excellent condition, and I believe it actually cost less than the unit I replaced. VERY PLEASED!!!
