The visually flat screen delivers outstanding image quality with reduced glare. Digital Multiscan technology supports resolutions up to 1,600 x 1,200, and the 0.244 aperture grille pitch sets the standard in image clarity and precision. Sony's HiDensity electron gun system ensures consistent, accurate focus across the entire screen, even in the corners. The tilt-and-swivel base provides ease-of-use and optimal viewing angles.

Great image and full control...,

This review is from: Sony CPD-G220R/L 17" FD Trinitron CRT Monitor (Electronics)
The image is perfect! After some minor ajusts you are ready to go! The on-screen controls allow the user tweak most everything! You just get mad at the two thin copper wires dividing the screen in 3 stripes. According to SONY, it is part of the Trinitron technology and must be there. Well, I can tell I no longer "see" these lines... :-) The monitor is a little deep, but I have enough space on my desktop. So, I'd recomment anyone who buys a VAIO computer to go for it. The LCD prices are still relatively high and the nanotube monitors are promising to hit the market late this year, lowering a lot the street price for flat pannel monitors. Oh, of course, the design is very nice! You'll love it!!!
