I'm going to keep this short and sweet.

This game is EXCELLENT for playing online. The online game lobby layout could see some major improvements, but it works. I don't think I've ever spent as much time online with a game as much as I did with this one.

Simply put, it is LOADS of fun. But don't get me wrong - you're buying this for the multiplayer. Single-player mode only lasts for a few hours.

Worms was one of the first games I ever played and this revision of the game doesn't disappoint.

Audio ****
No problems here. Plenty of voice theme's to assign your own personal platoon of worms. From enraged Scots to depressed robots you'll be able to experience them all. My only complaint is that I can't play my own music whilst in game. Certainly not a deal-breaker but it would have been nice addition.

Video ****
Overall I was impressed with the graphics. The animation is smooth and the rendering of both the maps and the menus are nicely finished. The are no grand cinematic sequences and no 'story mode'. The maps are fun and each is numbered so you can return to those you particularly like or you can simply randomly render a map until you come across one you like.

Gameplay ****
Online multiplayer mode and a 20-round challenge mode leave you with plenty of game to play. Still, the true strength of any worms game is it's local multiplayer mode. This allows up to 4 players to battle together on one console and an option to use just one controller for all players or each player can have their own controller. The one glitch I have encountered seems to be completely random. It causes the active players worm to crawl constantly to the right. You are still able to change weapons and fire but it makes it hard to be accurate with a worm that is on the move.

Overall *****
This game is 5-Stars. The local multiplayer is so much fun it makes any other problems a non-issue. At it's current price it's a huge bargain.
