This is an excellent product. I bought my Sony to make video reviews and to take a multitude of pictures. The camera comes with a very user friendly "how to" manual for those of us who aren't too tech savvy. For the price, it is a steal. The picture quality is excellent and rivals the quality from a lot of more expensive cameras. The Sony software isn't interchangeable with other brands so be ready to pay a little more to equip your product with Sony only products. All in all, an excellent purchase!

This was a birthday gift for my teenager. The camera is awesome. In my opinion, better than the Canon PowerShot I have. It has a very nice display, the pictures are clear and crisp. The shutter movement is quick. I would recommend as a good deal for anyone needing a quality camera for a good price.

I'm in the Saltwater Fish Bussines, and its very important to have nice pictures of the exotic fish that arrive every time, and this camera does the job , nice, crisp, 8 MP say averything and if you add a 2 or 4 GB memory stick you can take hundred of pictures .....

Sony has been around for a long time,and they have a great reputation,all
my stereo components are Sony.This Sony camera is compact,lightweight,and takes great photos.Great zoom,much better than most cameras,the overall performance is awsome!

I use my Sony Cybershot primarily for capturing precious moments involving my ninja fast 3 year old. It is crucial that the camera I am using produce high quality photos that I can have printed in 8 x 10 and 10 x 13 sizes. My Cybershot has NOT let me down!

This camera is lightweight, compact, but packs a very heavy punch. I have used it to take photos which have been turned into greeting cards, into poster size prints, and used on web sites. The quality is that good!

The Sony Cybershot is very user friendly, has a great zoom feature, and is worth every penny. This is a TRUE "point & shoot" digital camera.

I highly recommend this camera. There is now a newer model, Sony Cybershot DSC-S980 12MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization (Black), with 12MP, rather than the 8.1MP.

I got this as a gift, and absolutely love its functionality. So far it's proven easy to use and good quality. The screen is large and vivid. The five-point auto focus works well, and gives you great clarity in your pictures. The flash is a bit slow, but otherwise it's a fast shot. The only downside is that you have to use the sony memory card and adapter in order to get pics onto your computer or printed at the store. Otherwise, it's a great buy! I'd recommend it for someone looking for a compact, easy-to-use digital camera.

This camera takes great pictures and does not require a lot of technical knowledge. Our 3 year old will not sit still for pictures and this camera is so fast, we actually get several great shots! Also, I notice a difference with the 8.1 MP in the clarity of many of our photos. I love all the options available and that it's a camera that a technical idiot like myself can use.

This works pretty well. It does have great features which I believe every 8.1MP camera have. Got this as this was a Sony and the combo deal with the SD card and the care. Picture quality is superb and sharp.

This camera is a replacement for the same model we used that died after a sudden stop on a hard surface. We liked the camera and chose to get another so our accessories would still be useful. So far so good. Primary use is capturing pictures of wedding cakes and it does this nicely.
