Very good product. Really good sound also portable. Only problem is you have to take out your CD player each time from the speaker sustem when you load new CD, otherwise excellent.

I'm very happy with the Sony D-NE329SP MP3/ATRAC3 CD Walkman with Speaker Stand. It's perfect for the bedside, which is why I purchased it. It doesn't take up a lot of room and the sound is terrific. It has all sorts of functions that I'll need to read the manual to use, but you can just hit the PLAY button as well. It does come with software for converting to the ATRAC3 format if you want, but MP3s work too.

I thought the speaker stand would have battery house & it would work on the go, but the speaker will work only when you connect the whole thing to a power outlet.

The voice quality is good. How about waiting for portable dvd-mp3 player? 4 GBs of mp3s is equal to iPod mini.

For the price we paid for this product, the sound quality is fair for such small speakers, though I am only using it at my desk at work and I can't have loud volume anyway. Even when using the speakers and everything's plugged in, you still end up going through a lot of batteries for the CD player itself, or you have to use long-lasting lithium batteries because the CD player only holds one AA battery. Mostly this product is just fine.

Great sound, and nice feature in that you can detach it from its external speakers and use it as a conventional CD "walkman." The controls aren't that intuitive, however, and the instructions are somewhat lacking -- it took me quite a while just to figure out how to turn the thing off!
